Yes, the initial assessment is free with no obligation.

Water Damage

It depends on the extent of the damage, but most water damage jobs take three to five days to fully dry using industrial drying equipment. We monitor moisture levels daily rather than guessing when it's done.

Most policies cover sudden and accidental water damage, like a burst pipe or appliance failure. Gradual leaks that went unaddressed over time are typically not covered. We can help you understand which category your situation falls into.

Trapped moisture behind walls, under flooring, or inside cabinetry can lead to mold growth within 24 to 48 hours. That's why we use moisture meters to verify materials are fully dry, not just dry to the touch, before closing out a job.

Fire & Smoke

Often, yes. Smoke and soot can travel throughout a property well beyond where the fire itself occurred, and that damage is frequently covered under the same claim.

Odor removal depends on the extent of the damage and can include deep cleaning, air scrubbing, and treating affected materials directly. We assess the situation on-site and explain what's needed before starting.

Mold

It depends on the cause. Mold resulting from a sudden, covered event like a burst pipe is often covered. Mold from long-term neglect or an unresolved leak typically is not.

Some mold types can affect indoor air quality and may cause health issues for sensitive individuals. If you're concerned about a specific mold type or health impact, we'd recommend also consulting a medical professional. Our job is to identify the moisture source, contain the area, and remediate it thoroughly.

For small, surface-level mold, some homeowners handle it themselves. But if mold is recurring, widespread, or you don't know the moisture source, DIY cleaning often just treats the symptom, not the underlying problem.

Insurance & Claims

No. You have the right to choose your own restoration company for any covered claim.

No. In Texas, insurers are legally prohibited from waiving your deductible.

Replacement Cost Value (RCV) covers the cost to replace damaged property with new materials. Actual Cash Value (ACV) factors in depreciation, so it typically pays out less upfront.

Not necessarily. We work directly with your insurance company on your behalf throughout the claims process, which can reduce or eliminate the need for a separate public adjuster in many cases.

Photos or video of the damage as soon as it's safe to do so are helpful, but not required. We conduct our own thorough documentation on-site for your claim.
